Staff Changes / New ACTION Zambia Director

Tim and Andrea Hilty have faithfully served ACTION Zambia for something like 9 years. Many of you know them and love them as we do. Some of you may not know that Tim has resigned as Director of ACTION Zambia and so we wanted to post this update. Tim and Andrea and their kids will be leaving at the beginning of December. Of course we are very sad!! Tim has led this mission with a lot of perseverance and energy and wisdom, and Andrea has supported him and helped with the work of the mission in many ways. They are great friends and one of the reasons we came to Zambia. If you know Tim and Andrea and this is news to you today, please take the time to contact them and let them know how much you appreciate their faithful service!

In October we said goodbye to Tyler Dingman, a young man who has been serving at Ciyanjano with us for the past 2 years. Again, we are sad to say goodbye but we are excited for Tyler who is engaged to be married to a wonderful young lady serving with another mission organization here in Lusaka. Tyler will be joining her in the work serving vulnerable children.

We'd also like to announce that Derek Dearth has been approved by our Zambian Board of Directors as the new field Director. Derek and his wife, Kristin, are awesome and we are confident they will do a great job leading our field with God's help. They have been serving with the CROSS HIV/AIDS program for the past 4 years. ACTION International will be sending out a representative to officially install Derek early this coming year. Please be in prayer for Derek and Kristin, and our whole team as we say goodbye to the Hilty family and get settled with Derek as our new Director. Thank you so much for you prayers!
