In the past ACTION Zambia had a wonderful team of ladies come short-term from Twin Lakes Church in California to help us put on a retreat for all of the wives of the pastors in the ACTION Pastors College (APC). Karen Singleton, a missionary on our team, would offer a lot of assistance with that program during the conference and then periodically during the year. After the Twin Lakes team had come numerous times, it was time for the ACTION Zambia folks to take on doing the conference ourselves. And, we were able to very successfully follow their lead.
However, AZ has gotten a bit smaller over the years and when Karen and Tracy Singleton decided to head back to the States, we feared that the pastors' wives' events would be put on hold... Praise God; he had a different plan. We are so thankful that Karen was able to visit recently to plan and lead the event along with Easter Ngoma, who is part of our discipleship team and has helped with pastors' wives' ministry for many years. The conference was a huge blessing and we were so happy to see this ministry to pastors' wives continue through AZ. Please pray for all these ladies as they minister to their congregations.
