Ten years ago this day we (Kelly, Tricia & Lucas Huckaby) stepped off the plane at Lusaka airport to begin our life in Zambia. What a life it has been. We really thank God that He has seen us through these years of ups and downs. We've trusted in Jesus Christ our Lord to be our savior, protector, provider, friend, counselor, brother, teacher, comforter, and more, and He has been faithful. God has expanded his family and God has expanded ours - physically, metaphorically, spiritually... gastronomically.

Who ARE these people? |
|
Lucas has definitely grown over the years - it must be the good nsima!!! |
|
Many of our first Champs are still part of our family!
|
We've happily started up Champs again with a third group, though we are taking health precautions. The group meets outside and tries to keep some social distance. We've also set up hand-washing stations around the property and handed out masks.

We had to pull out all the wool blankets because everyone is so cold sitting outside. |
We are also so glad to re-open our Ciyanjano Reading Room a few times a week. We've limited the number of people, but at least a handful of folks can study a time and we were able to do a lot of re-organizing and cleaning while we were closed. The place is looking great!
As a family, we would like to give special thanks to all of you who have prayed and given over the years - we appreciate your support and love so much!!!! God bless you guys. Cheers to another 10 years!
