Champs Discipleship Graduation (Catching up from September)

This amazing milestone for our 2018 Champs got lost in a few busy months but I don't want to forget to honour their hard work and God's faithfulness. For the past 18 months I've been meeting weekly to go through the NavPress Discipleship program (D2:7) with this group of eleven youth and it's a highlight for me every week. This course focuses on learning the disciplines of Bible reading and scripture memorisation. The students learn how to share the gospel and about the spiritual and relational life of a mature Christian. This group of Champs also got to work with the previous group of Champs on outreaches and camps. They also shared the gospel at two community schools with more than a thousand kids! We hope to do a Christmas outreach with them next month and another children's camp in April. Pray for them and that they would continue in their walk with Christ and to share the good news about Jesus with other youth and children. Ciyanjano staff, Mathews Sakala has been working as a facilitator with Jailos Sakala (Ciyanjano Manager) to facilitate a D2:7 group for their church and plan for their class to graduate next month. For the graduation we gave out ESV Global Study Bibles, shared a meal and talked about the highlights of our time together and prayed for this amazing group of youths and played Pictionary.
