YWAM team and Champs Outreaches (Mostly Photos)
When our soon-to-be African Regional Coordinator in South Africa offered to send us a half dozen or more YWAM students finishing their Discipleship Training School (DTS), I will admit I was not sure if we'd have time and energy during this busy season to work with a group of international youth we didn't already have relationships with. But we thought we'd give it a shot and wee what we could find for them to do and see if our national youth (the Champs) were free to help and WOW. God is faithful and full of surprises. We loved having this team - so much energy and new ideas and they worked so well with our team and of course our family loved having them as well.
Such a great opportunity to see the Ciyanjano Champs and the YWAM team together in teaching the Gospel at 5 community schools, Bible Club, Sunday School, visiting CROSS, teaming up with Ciyanjano staff to conduct community evangelism around our community, performing songs and skits and games and teaching more than a thousand kids in a week! God gets all the glory! Pray for these new relationships. Pray for the kids that heard the gospel; pray for local churches to disciple and train children to know Jesus!
